Why should I join PAEC?
Its simple… here’s why: PAEC provides leadership in programming to increase knowledge, enhance skill and facilitate training of members of the Association. PAEC offers teacher accreditation, and works to encourage a high standard of teaching practice while ensuring that you, the member, are receiving the information you need to properly implement PAEC’s syllabi into your dance education for your students.
PAEC provides progressive syllabi and examinations for its members nationwide and maintains an environment of encouraging growth in many performing art forms such as: ACRO, BALLET, TAP, JAZZ, MODERN, URBAN, AND MUSICAL THEATRE.
PAEC invests financial resources on behalf of its members to further strengthen PAEC programming, operations and services. We fund scholarships for competitions as well as individual dance students to help them progress in their dance education.
PAEC provides various forms of sponsorship for our thriving dance community as well as provides our members with their own SOCAN membership.
Furthermore, PAEC stays current, by providing its members with various Guest Teacher Master Classes and Workshops for students and teachers. Offering workshops with leading dance professionals in the industry, helps to provide you with sound professional development, and works to inspire your students with knowledge and a shared passion.

Time to do what you do best !! Create the Dance Class that you will teach at your examination.
Your class should be 45 minutes !
This will be a teaching examination. The emphasis is on technical knowledge, theory, progression of movements, musicality and proper corrections. In addition to; class build-up, manner/demeanor and teacher-student rapport.
