As we celebrate National Tap Dance Day, join us for an inspiring weekend as we review the updates to the PAEC Tap Syllabus and have a chance to connect with your peers. Whether you are a member and use the syllabus regularly or not, this will be a great opportunity to get new content and refresh your classes. This Syllabus Day has been adapted as most of you might be participating from home. Please note that participation may be by watching and / or doing, either way, you will get the full benefits.

Theresa started her dance career at the age of 4 and studied and competed in all genres of dance; Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Tap. She started her teaching career in 1987, and was part of the team that developed the Tap syllabus for PAEC. She is currently a Tap and Jazz examiner.
Theresa has adjudicated throughout southern Ontario and most recently has acquired her license in Tap with the INTERNATIONAL DANCE ORGANIZATION (IDO). A highlight of her career was choreographing the children’s team for the CANADIAN NATIONAL TAP TEAM in 2015, 2016 and 2018. Theresa also specializes in working with children with special needs; physical and learning.
As a mother and a grandmother, Theresa brings an enriched perspective of child development and learning.
